Sir Paul McCartney kept a stiff upper lip in the face of a St. Patrick’s Day without gatherings and took to the worldwide web for well-wishing.

McCartney posted a picture of himself bathed in green and on stage.

‘Magical Mystery Tour’ Sketches Up for Auction

Also some drawings for Macca’s Magical Mystery Tour piano will be hitting the auction block. The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour ‘magic piano’ sketches worth about $12,500 including designs for Sir Paul McCartney’s “magic piano” are going up for auction. The sketches are by the BEV Collective (Binder, Edwards, Vaughan) for the famous psychedelic designs painted onto Paul McCartney’s ‘Magic Piano’ circa late 1966.

The sketches were found by builder Andy Clynes, 54, found them in 1999 as he converted a mill into a wine bar near Manchester. Clynes put the renderings away but decided to auction them off on March 24. For more information go here.

In other news from The Beatles, last week it was announced that the Peter Jackson-directed “The Beatles: Get Back” would be released.
