Third Eye Blind confirmed it will release a new album Oct. 18 and Stephan Jenkins and company have dropped the title track, “Screamer,” indicative of a new style from the NorCal rockers.
CaliforniaRocker reported the news of the new album two months ago in an interview with Jenkins.

Ryan Olson of Polica and Marijuana Deathsquads, Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells and Billy Corgan are featured on the record. “Screamer” is proof that the favorite California band continues to evolve and stays ahead of curve with its dynamic sound.
“Screamer” features Alexis Krauss, and it’s easy to hear the Krauss influence on the song. Screamer the album gets an early release on Oct. 11 on the “Ten Bands One Cause” Pink Vinyl Campaign to Benefit Gilda’s Club of New York City.
