Deep Purple will be releasing their 21st album on June 12, called Whoosh! and the band will tour Europe to promote the new collection.

The “Smoke On The Water” rockers team with producer Bob Ezrin for the record. Ezrin produced the band’s 2017 release InFinite and Now What?! released in 2013..

“We’ve included everything that made the whole band smile, including Bob Ezrin,” said guitarist Steve Morse said. “We’ve always enjoyed making music and having the incredible luxury of a loyal audience.”

“Deep Purple is putting the Deep back into Purple,” Ian Gillan said of the studio work.

The 1970s legends who made “Smoke On The Water” a household anthem, said things in the recording business have changed over the years but their new album will appeal to all ages.

Deep Purple were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

The band will be touring through Europe, starting in Moscow on May 31 and wrapping up in Amsterdam on October 28.
