The Radio Dept. has released the new single “The Absence of Birds,” a dreamy tune shared through the band’s own Just So! label.
The single includes the band’s original version, as well as a cover by Civilistjavel! and is the band’s first new music since 2018.
“The Absence of Birds” represents the band’s beloved trademark sound and portrays a nostalgic time but with noted sharp angles.
The Radio Dept. will tour North America with fellow Swedish band Hater supporting. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time here.
