The Weeknd, Eminem, Beyoncé and St. Vincent will headline Coachella 2018, bringing a diverse lineup to the annual music event at the Empire Polo Club.
First Timers at Coachella 2018
Vince Staples, Post Malone, Cardi B. and Tyler the Creator also have top slots at Coachella 2018, which is presented by Goldenvoice.
There are some beloved and disco-funk veterans taking the stage including Chic Feat. Nile Rodgers, who recorded the disco megahit “Le Freak,” and Jamiroquai, known for “Canned Heat,” the song that gave Napoleon Dynamite his come-uppance. Meanwhile, David Byrne without the Talking Heads also makes an appearance, following rumors indicating he might be a part of the lineup this year.
Surprises at the younger end of the music spectrum include The Marias, BORNS, The Regrettes, The Buttertones and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever of Australia.
Coachella takes place April 13-15 and April 20-22. The weekends are identical even down to the schedule. And what’s identical to last year and many Coachella events prior is hotel and motel room prices surge and rooms fill up fast.
