Gary Clark Jr. is Lincoln’s Newest Spokesman

The Lincoln Motor Company has teamed with Gary Clark Jr. and Revel amps in a music-marketing partnership to promote the new 2017 Lincoln Continental.
The new 2017 Lincoln Continental is built around the 19 speakers of the Revel audio system for an enhanced listener experience.
The company called in virtuoso Gary Clark Jr. and Ben Fargen, renowned amp builder who designs equipment for individualized sound. The task: To build a custom amp designed to accommodate Gary’s bluesy musical range, in collaboration with the team at Revel.
“I’m going on 22 years of building guitar amps,” said Fargen. “I think its about putting a little bit of yourself into what you do.”
“I’ve been draw to certain amps for a while, crackling overdriven speakers just about to bust,” Clark says. “It sounds like a hundred-mile-an-hour fastball. The collaboration just seemed to kind of all make sense. It’s classic. I don’t know a guitar player who doesn’t like great amps and to put their great gear into a great car, ride around and feel fly like they can conquer the world … It’s Rock and Roll.”
