Billie Joe Armstrong has a new hobby: He has turned into a puppetmaster and he’s producing a video show he airs on Instagram called Otis TV.
Revealed via The Longshot Instagram account, Otis is a lovable Muppet-like creation who hosts a music video show much like an MTV VJ of the 1980s.
On his first two episodes of Otis TV, the puppet has shown videos of The Ramones, Bikini Kill, Generation X, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, local band Klit Cat, and the Sex Pistols.
Otis bears a remarkable resemblance to Armstrong, with black hair and green eyes and is even wearing a little leather jacket. The puppet has made some appearances over the years.
