Wild Honey Foundation Presents ‘The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society’ on Saturday

Wild Honey Foundation will present The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society album in its entirety as a fundraiser for the Autism Think Tank on Saturday at the historic Alex Theatre. 

The event will take place at 8 p.m.. The Alex Theatre is located at 216 N. Brand Blvd., in downtown Glendale.

Led by acclaimed musical director Rob Laufer, Wild Honey Orchestra and Friends will present a faithful recreation of the Kinks’ 1968 masterpiece, with an additional full set of Kinks songs from the pre-1973 era.

All of the record’s 15 songs will be performed with exacting detail by musicians and vocalists dedicated to and in love with this music. In the tradition of Wild Honey’s recent benefit events (Buffalo Springfield, The Band, Beach Boys ’67-’77, Big Star, and three Beatles shows), Wild Honey Orchestra and Friends will passionately celebrate every musical nuance of The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society.
