The original members of Van Halen could be reuniting for a major stadium and arena tour in 2019, according to several reports.
It would be the first time with the original lineup since 1984 with David Lee Roth, Michael Anthony, Eddie Van Halen and Alex Van Halen.
The “rumor” basically comes from New York magazine’s site Vulture which published on Dec. 13. Roth spoke with Vulture to promote his skincare line. Then the rumor picked up fuel when mentioned by Eddie Trunk who has a popular show on Sirius XM.

Roth: Reunited Van Halen May Play Yankee Stadium
“When we come back through town in the summertime and do the original thing, maybe somewhere sportin’, maybe with somebody famous, I’ll make sure we get you all tickets so you can see what we do for gainful employment,” Roth told Vulture.
Roth had been with the band since 2007, but Anthony was replaced with Van Halen’s son Wolfgang Van Halen in 2006.
Trunk said a few sources of his have also heard about the possibility of a tour.
