Alejandro Aranda has made it to the final three on American Idol.
Tuesday in Pomona, Aranda’s home town, there was a celebration for the local musician, admired for his great talent and humble demeanor. His performing name “ScaryPoolParty” which used to be known to music fans around Pomona, is now known by millions around the world.
And what the fans around the world have also come to know is that Aranda is a gifted musician, who can play the piano and guitar like a genius. His songs are romantic and filled with love, the longing of unrequited love, and living life.

In an interview on Monday with ABC TV in Los Angeles, Aranda recapped the thrilling moments after his name was called on Sunday night as one of three finalists on American Idol.
“There are a lot of kind messages I’ve gotten,” Aranda said on ABC Los Angeles on Monday morning. “Every time I perform and get off the stage it’s just filled with kindnesss, it feels awesome.
“I think like even going into the music industry I’ve worked a lot of jobs and a lot of areas of work,” Aranda said. “I think music has always been a passion of mine and I’ve always wanted to be in music, this is just a stepping stone to getting my music heard.”
On Sunday night, Aranda wowed the crowd performing ‘Sorry Seems to be The Hardest Word” by Elton John. The American Idol finale is next Sunday night, May 19.
Judge Lionel Richie told him “You killed that. The sky’s the limit for where you want to be.
Judge Katy Perry said “You’ve decided to actually play in this competition and it shows.”

The Pomona parade will take place at on Second Street at Thomas Street. It moves down Main Street, turns on fourth Street and ends on Third. The presentation will take place at the Fox Theatre on Garey Avenue after the parade.
