Renowned rocker Steve Vai will host “Steve Vai’s Big Mama Jama Jam-a-Thon,” a 52-hour live music experience, on Sept. 28th-30th at Musicians Institute’s new auditorium in Los Angeles.

Steve will serve as musical director of the event, as a variety of musical artists take to the stage to raise awareness for extraordinary families, a nonprofit foster family and adoption agency.

All proceeds go directly to Extraordinary Families, where Vai is a board member.

“I currently serve on the board of EF and let me tell you, these folks are extraordinary and do vital work for families and children in LA,” Vai said.
