The Pretty Things, one of the most influential bands of the 1960s and ’70s has just released a special boxed set celebrating more than 50 years in the business of rock n roll.

For more than half a century, U.K.-based The Pretty Things have brought their original sound to venues around the world. Their sound is pure 1960s but resonates strongly today.

The group has released a new boxed set called Bouquets From A Cloudy Sky, which offers an opportunity to really kick back and “get schooled” by the best.  SEE VIDEO HERE

The very anti-authoritarian group led by Phil May, has had an influence over everyone from David Bowie to Van Morrison and beyond. Guitarist Dick Taylor still plays a wicked guitar, but that’s to be expected from the original bassist for The Rolling Stones.

And for those of us who have not been as fortunate as our British counterparts to enjoy The Pretty Things’ music all these years, this boxed set is an opportunity to learn the classics.

But when they say “limited edition,” they really mean it as only 2,000 of the boxed sets have been produced.

Lastly, if you’re out of luck and out of money but you’ve got an Internet connection, check out some cool in-concert links:
