John Mayer will play the Forum as one of the North American stops on his 2019 World Tour, it was announced Monday.
The summer tour kicks off in Albany, N.Y., on Friday, July 19, at the Times Union Center and will run through September. Regional shows include two nights at the Forum on Sept. 13 and 14, one night in San Diego on Sept. 11, and a show in Phoenix, Ariz., on Sept. 10.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Feb. 1, at noon local time through Ticketmaster.com.
American Express Card Members can purchase tickets ahead of the public starting Tuesday, January 29 at 10 AM local time through Thursday, Jan. 31 at 10 PM. Fan presale starts Tuesday, January 29 at 10 AM local time. Fans can sign up now at JohnMayer.com for access.

Two pairs of front row tickets, each with a preshow meet and greet with John Mayer, will be auctioned off for every concert in North America. All proceeds will go to benefit the Back to You Fund and other associated charities. Check HERE for more information.
The World Tour launches in March in New Zealand and Australia and then heads to Asia through April. There are no opening acts and the show features two sets.
Mayer is also touring North America in 2019, for the fourth consecutive year, with Dead and Company, featuring Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, along with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti.
Mayer has won seven GRAMMY awards and has earned seven U.S. No. 1s on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart and 25 entries on the Hot Rock Songs chart, the most for any solo artist. In 2018, he released the Gold-certified “New Light,” while working on his eighth solo album, the follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed The Search for Everything.
For the third consecutive year, Mayer toured with Dead & Company in 2018, who played to over 500,000 people on its third and largest tour. Additionally, he launched ‘Current Mood,’ his highly regarded Instagram Live show on Sundays, which some have dubbed, “the best way to start the week on a high note, maybe even the only way.”
