Preoccupations today release a live video for the song “Decompose” which was filmed at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.
Directed by Evan Henderson and shot on film which had been boiled for two weeks in a salt water brine prior to filming, the video shows the intensity and energy Preoccupations live shows are known for. All dates are listed below including more US dates later this year which includes Desert Daze Festival alongside Tame Impala, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Death Grips and more.
Preoccupations, formerly known as Viet Cong, just finished a tour of North America where they were robbed twice, having all of their instruments and gear stolen. They were able to finish the remaining dates, including dates at The Echo, borrowing instruments from friends and support acts.
The tour ended on a positive note with the band reaching their goal set on GoFundMe, raising funds to help replace their gear, donated by fans and supporters everywhere. The European leg of the tour starts this week.
