Ticketfly has been hacked and the venues that put on the shows that Ticketfly customers want to see have also been compromised.
Spaceland venues, Teragram Ballroom, Moroccan Lounge, Troubadour, The Roxy, and other venues that use Ticketfly to sell tickets were down as of Saturday, with cryptic Ticketfly notices affixed to the home pages.
Eventbrite, the owner of Ticketfly issued the following statement:
“We’ve determined that Ticketfly.com has been the target of a cyber incident. Out of an abundance of caution, we have take all Ticketfly systems temporarily offline as we continue to look into the issue. We realize the gravity of this decision, bu tthe security of client and customer data is our top priority. We are working tirelessly, and in coordination with leading third party forensic experts to get our clients back up and running.”
It is not known to what degree customer information has been compromised.
It is suggested to purchase tickets directly from the box office for weekend events and until the systems are back up and running.
