It’s not the British Invasion, but instead, this weekend is the German invasion as artists from Hamburg and Berlin team with Americans to perform and spread the word about clean water.
Water Week Social Arts Festival debuts the group Viva Con Agua California, whose mission is to help bring clean water to all corners of the world. See Viva Con Agua to read about this charitable organization.
Thursday night at the Hi Hat, American bands Allah-Las and Peach Kelli Pop joined outstanding German performers Fenster and Swearing at Motorists to launch a musical weekend of events.
Tonight at Pixomondo Studios there will be a Viva Con Agua Mashup with music art, videos and artwork by Tim Bengel and music by The Great Escape. Tomorrow at The Virgil Club in Silver Lake will be a night with Aloe Blacc, Max Herre of Berlin and others.
