Father John Misty has released the compelling new album “Live at Copenhagen Opera House,” a collection that captures all the bite and beauty the artist also known as Josh Tillman consistently offers.

The “bootleg” is a sonic achievement in live recording, owed to the collective efforts of the crew and the band. Make no mistake, the fans and audience participation play no small part in the mix, adding to the rich ambiance of the event.

Tony Barba’s wistful sax takes center stage on many of the tracks, lending a dreamy panorama to the sweeping range of moods conveyed throughout the record.

Additional band members are Dan Bailey on drums; Kyle Flynn on keyboards; Chris Dixie Darley on guitars; Eli Thomson on bass; Jon Titterington on keyboards; and David Vandervelde on guitars and vocals.
