Eddie Vedder launched his annual Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California, by joining The Strokes onstage Friday and taking center stage on Saturday night. The Strokes headlined Friday, Vedder headlined Saturday and Red Hot Chili Peppers were expected headliners Sunday.

The highlight of Friday, the Vedder and Strokes ensemble performance included the Pearl Jam hit “Hard To Imagine” and The Strokes’ “Juicebox.”

Vedder told the crowd he joined the “fellas” on stage because it would give him the chance to thank the musicians.

He dedicated “Hard To Imagine” to those who are fighting so hard for gun control.

Vedder hosted a range of artists at the annual festival, including Red Hot Chili Peppers who headlined on Sunday.
