It appears Ryan Adams has ended his self-imposed banishment from social media and wants to get back to making music.
Five months after accusations of sexual misconduct, abusive behavior and video sex with an underage fan, Adams is once again communicating with the public through social media.
On July 20, he posted on Instagram indicating that he he would have a lot to say and is going to do so soon.
Prose-Like Ryan Adams Post Indicates New Music
In a long post that was more like prose than a social media communication, Adams admitted he is “flawed.”
He also suggested the possibility there may be new music on the horizon. “It’s time to get back to what I do best,” he said. “I’m here for the music, for the love and for making things better.”
Ryan signs off the Instagram post with a stanza that begins “Believe Women. Believe Truth. But never give up on being part of solutions, and healing.”
In his new posts on Instagram, Adams appears to have uploaded some shots in the studio and indicates new music is on the way.
Adams Posts About Apollo 11, Ronnie Dio, Grateful Dead
His latest posts show an interest in Apollo 11, Ronnie James Dio, The Grateful Dead, and his cats. His previous posts were in February in which he says he is “resolved to be the best man I can be.”
As someone who has always tried to spread joy through my music and my life, hearing that some people believe I caused them pain saddens me greatly. I am resolved to work to be the best man I can be. And I wish everyone compassion, understanding and healing.
