Elton John Releases Second Trailer for Paramount Biopic ‘Rocketman’

Elton John has released the second trailer for “Rocketman” the Paramount biopic due this summer.

“Flamboyant” is an understatement for the performance style of the legendary piano man John, known for his outrageous glitter glam outfits and wild glasses.

“Rocketman,” directed by Dexter Fletcher is set to open wide on May 31.

Taron Egerton performs his own vocals in “Rocketman,” which has been in the movie pipeline since 2011.

Executive producers are Claudia Schiffer and John, and John’s husband, David Furnish, produces.

Bernie Taupin, John’s longtime songwriting partner and lyricist, is played by Jaime Bell. Bell worked with screenwriter Lee Hall on “Billy Elliot.” Giles Martin, the son of legendary George Martin, produces the soundtrack.
