Rock Crossover Band Electrifies at Whisky Tonight

Sound Barrier the band will hit the Whisky A Go-Go stage tonight and play some new cuts for longtime fans.

The legendary 1980s band with dynamic frontman Bernie Kimbell, is the first all-black metal band signed to a major label they and inspired other crossover rock acts like Fishbone, and Living Colour.  Tom Morello has said Sound Barrier was one of his musical inspirations when he was in college.

Bernie and the gang will hit the stage at 8 p.m. and will perform some oldies and goodies.  “I’m Just a Man” is one of their newest tunes, check it out:
