Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven headline the Campout 14 Friday and Saturday at Pappy and Harriet’s in Joshua Tree this holiday weekend.
The Campout series at Pappy and Harriet’s is an annual event that promises good music through Saturday night of the Labor Day Weekend.
Jesika von Rabbit, The Dangers Open
Special guest Saturday night is Jesika von Rabbit, who has a new album about to be released called Dessert Rock. On Saturday, Cracker goes on at 10 p.m., Camper Van Beethoven is on at 8:30 p.m. and Jesika von Rabbit is on at 7:15 p.m.
On Friday night, Camper Van Beethoven goes on at 9:45 p.m., Cracker goes on at 8 p.m., The Dangers are on at 6:30 p.m. The closer is Victor Krummenacher outside at 11:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
Cracker’s New Album ‘Berkeley to Bakersfield’
Cracker has a new album out called Berkeley to Bakersfield and the band made a video for the track “Almond Grove.”

Camper Van Beethoven at Campout 14
Camper Van Beethoven’s latest is El Camino Real, a real treat for Southern Californians who get some props from the Northern Cal band, arguably best known for “Take the Skinheads Bowling” and “Pictures of Matchstick.”
