Fresh off their second annual Snow Ball, an event so popular that there were lines around the block at the Wiltern, the Growlers will be taking their Natural Affair tour on the road down under to Australia and back again.

The Snow Ball was a night not unlike a dreamy high school dance, complete with frontman Brooks Nielsen acting almost like a teenage emcee, complete with his fancy suit and black hi-top Chuck Taylors. The set list covered a range of songs including selections off the latest album, Natural Affair.

The Growlers released the video for the single “Try Hard Fool” here:

The Growlers continue to experiment with new looks and new sounds and keep their immense fan base happy in the making. The California band continues to gain popularity with their own brand of beach goth.

Natural Affair, released last October, is getting positive reviews and the band’s taking the music on the road. After spending January in Australia, and including a few nights in Las Vegas, it’s on to Europe for February.

The Growlers will return to California on March 6 to play Soma in San Diego; then March 16 they’ll play the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo; on March 18 they play The Majestic Ventura Theater; March 19 and March 20 they play The Catalyst in Santa Cruz; March 21 it’s San Francisco at the Warfield and March 25, 26 and March 27 they’ll be at the National Grove of Anaheim.
