Tame Impala performed its newly released single “Patience” and debuted the new song “Borderline” on Saturday Night Live.
The Australian band recently announced a new album for 2019. Tame Impala hasn’t put out an album since Currents in 2015.
But the band has made a resurgence, headlining at Coachella this year, making good on its Desert Daze washout promise to “come back.”
The beloved Aussie band performed with its trademark mellow mood but still manages to get the crowd excited in keeping of its place as longtime music favorites down under and in the states.
The show put a psychedelic spotlight on Kevin Parker and the crew as the band took New York by storm.
