The Who has announced support acts for their Moving On! Tour that kicks off summer dates May 7.  In October, the legendary UK musicians play Los Angeles, with two nights at The Hollywood Bowl, and San Diego, with one night at the Viejas Arena.

Support for the trek include musicians whose talents span rock, country and bluegrass to audiences on the first leg of the tour. Confirmed are rockers Dirty Honey, Arkells and Reignwolf; blues-rock icon Peter Wolf; country band Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real; soulful singer-songwriter Leslie Mendelson; the bluegrass group The HillBenders and the Canadian indie-pop duo Moon vs. Sun.

The Who’s dynamic frontman Roger Daltrey and guitarist and songwriter Pete Townshend will pair with local symphony orchestras each night. Produced by Live Nation, The Who’s North American Moving On! Tour will hit 29 cities.

The kickoff date is May 7 in Grand Rapids, Mich., with the band wrapping up the first leg of the tour June 1 in Toronto, Ontario. Fall dates will launch on Sept. 6 in St. Paul, Minn., and conclude on Oct. 23 in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Who will also be releasing their first album in 13 years later this year. On stage, the line-up will be rounded out by familiar Who players featuring guitarist-backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Zak Starkey.

Every pair of tickets purchased online includes a redeemable code for a CD copy of The Who’s forthcoming album when it’s released. This offer is available to US and Canada customers but is not for tickets purchased through the secondary ticket market.
