Swift won eight Billboard Music Awards, including top artist. Her recent release, 1989, won top Billboard 200 album.

Meanwhile, West, who closed out the ABC show, was heavily censored by the alphabet for the lyrics in the songs he performed, “All Day,” from his soon-to-be-released album, Swish, and “Black-Skinned,” from Yeezus.

Taylor Swift‘s 1989 has dominated the charts since its October release, so it’s no surprise that she also leads the just-announced finalists for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

Finalists were revealed Tuesday (April 7), starting with the first five categories announced by returning BBMA host Ludacris and Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz on ABC’s Good Morning America. Then Luda’s first-time co-host Chrissy Teigen andEmpire star Jussie Smollett unveiled the remaining finalists during a Twitter press conference and Q&A.

Following Swift — who racked up 14 entries in 13 categories — is Sam Smith (13),Iggy Azalea (12) and Meghan Trainor (nine). Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on album and digital song sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social-media interactions — measurements that are tracked year-round byBillboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of March 10, 2014, through March 8, 2015.
